Arboricultural and Ecological reports to support planning applications If there are trees on a site proposed for development, it is normal for a Local authority to request that an Arboricultural report and an Ecological report accompany the Planning application before submission to the local Planning Authority.
Our SIX step planning service involves: An initial verbal site appraisal to identify the value of the trees and to indicate the constraints PRIOR to plans being drawn up. Carrying out a tree survey to the requirements of BS5837: Trees In Relation to Construction. Costs vary according to the number of trees on a potential building site. Preparation of an Arboriculture Assessment Report and a Tree Constraints Plan to enable the Architect to identify the development footprint outside tree-protected areas. Negotiations with architects and developers to facilitate development proposal. Final report inclusive of a Method Statement and Tree Protection Plan to accompany the full Planning application to be submitted to the Planning authority. Replanting schemes and landscape proposals prepared when requested. In addition to arboricultural reports, we provide Ecological reports to support Planning applications that take the form of a: Mapping exercise to identify species and habitats on and off site.
Full field and desktop survey of the site. Environmental Impact Assessment and Mitigation plans to include the mitigation requirements for species and habitat of conservation concern, retention or introduction of landscape features to maximise sunlight, reduce noise, create screening and enhancing the aesthetic and conducive living environment, soil maintenance on-site to ensure future success of recommendations, post-construction maintenance schemes.
